When I loaded Listen to Wikipedia tonight it glitched & stopped playing after a few sparse notes. For a brief moment before I thought to reload, I was living in a horrific nightmare world where the edits to English Language Wikipedia were so sparse that they no longer made music. It was like experiencing the heat death of the open web.

oh my god i just found out something so funny that i don't know how i never noticed before. This will be very specific and probably confusing but bear with me for a moment

This is in the scripts for the final boss in transistor

Almost everything is commented out. But various parts of it (it was trying to play animations of portraits appearing, text, etc). Imply that the final boss was going to have this goofy super-smash-brothers-type intro sequence to it. I don't know how i've never noticed this huge section when I looked in this exact script a couple years ago. I feel almost obligated to see if it's possible to uncomment it back in (I've never tried actually editing any of these scripts before so its scary...and I wouldn't be certain if the images it calls for would still exist)

At the current moment, I seem indifferent to the concept of love. I'm not so sure, honestly. But thinking about them, I don't think of 'first love' (It's going to be three years, ffs) but just... growth, I guess. It isn't bad if this is how love turns out to be. Yet, something feels awkward. Maybe I'm breaking down the structures I've built and based and understood these sorts of things on. They don't have to be a lifelong partner, I've never... wanted that. Someone to live with would be nice, and so would be 'building a community'. They are a part of mine. I look forward to the future with them. They told me, that at least, for now, we seek joy before thinking about running away. I'm trying to hold onto that.

For now, I am a wayfarer. I fare lonely, hoping to find fulfillment. I walk against the path of time, and what seems to be a current of uncertainty and misery.
